At Bbeabridge, we believe that peace can begin in many different ways.

It can begin with one person, one conversation, one meeting – or with the courage to explore new ways of bringing people, communities and organizations together.

That is why Bbeabridge welcomes the opportunity to highlight the Principality of San Bernardino and its vision of international cooperation.

The Principality of San Bernardino presents an unusual and thought-provoking idea: a community and network that reaches beyond traditional borders, connecting people through shared values, cooperation and international relationships.

For us at Bbeabridge, the most interesting part is not the question of political or legal status. What inspires our interest is the idea of building bridges between people across borders and exploring how new forms of international cooperation can contribute to peace.

A small island – a bigger idea

San Bernardino is connected to a small volcanic island in the Red Sea, in the Jebel Zubair area.

The project describes the island as a peaceful territory and presents a vision of international cooperation, humanitarian work, culture, education and dialogue.

The idea of creating connections beyond traditional geographical borders gives us an opportunity to ask an important question:

Can we create new paths to peace by connecting people in new ways?

At Bbeabridge, we believe the answer begins with dialogue.

Bbeabridge was created from a simple idea:

We want to encourage people from different generations, cultures, organizations and backgrounds to meet, listen to each other and discover what they can create together.

Peace does not only belong to governments or international institutions.

Peace also belongs to ordinary people.

It belongs to communities, educators, artists, entrepreneurs, young people, older people, associations and everyone who chooses to build rather than divide.

That is why Bbeabridge wants to highlight different initiatives around the world that are exploring new approaches to cooperation and peace.

The Principality of San Bernardino is one example that invites us to think differently about international networks, communities and cooperation.

We do not need to agree on everything in order to meet.

We can begin with curiosity.

We can begin with dialogue.

We can begin with a bridge.
